Introduction
Below you will find a set of searchable databases organised in ways to enable you to quickly appreciate the extent of this expedition.
This is a work in progress and will eventually consist of:
- A searchable crew database, to enable you to search for individuals and to see their rank, ship and role. Some bar charts and statistics will also be available
- A database of ranks and roles to further explain what each crew member was up to! This will automatically link to the crew database.
- A dates database so you can see the timeline and visual maps of where each ship went
- A photographic database that links to the dates database and shows photos on a world map as well as a traditional gallery view. Photos will also be added contrasting some of the places in 2023-4 with their modern day appearance 100 years later!
How to use the databases
- Each section consists of simple but comprehensive databases and analysis to provide relevant information, pre-filtered and sorted in useful ways. There are detailed specific usage instructions in the relevant page above each database
- If you see a collapsible arrow on the left like this example, then click on it to expand and see the information it contains. Click the arrow again to toggle the information to be collapsed for easy navigation.
- If you have any difficulties or requests then please email the webmaster Stephen Locks [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]@gmail.com)
